DumpStoppers

Road with trees along it and plastic bags of trash on the road.

Items such as tires, appliances, chemicals, furniture, electronics, construction debris and more have been thrown on roadsides, streams, and into our forests which can be dangerous to wildlife, public health and the environment.

DumpStoppers, a program funded by the Solid Waste division, helps clean up illegal dumpsites on county property or right-of-way areas.

Having increased community awareness and reporting of suspicious activity increases the chances of catching individuals conducting illegal dumping.

Help stop illegal dumping. Report the illegal dumping on county property or right-of-way areas by calling 503-397-7229 or by documenting it on an online report form.
