Online Application
How do I get help with my online application?

If you have questions, you may contact HR at 503-397-3874.

When I apply for a County job, can I just submit a resume instead of an online job application?

A resume alone cannot be accepted in place of a completed online job application.

Do not state "see resume" in any section of the online application.

Depending on the position, a resume and/or cover letter may also be required. If your application does not include all requested materials, it will be incomplete and will not be considered in the recruitment process.

How do I know the County has successfully received my online application?

You will receive an automated email notification once your application has been successfully received.

Do I need to submit a separate application for each position I am interested in?

Yes. A separate application is required for each position open for recruitment.

How often are jobs posted?

Jobs may be posted at any time. Check our job board daily for new postings, or you may sign up for the RSS Job Board Feed.

What materials do I need to submit to apply for a current job opening?

In addition to the application, you may be asked to submit a resume, cover letter, answers to supplemental questions or other materials.  Applications will only be accepted through the County online application process. Any other form of submittal will not be accepted.
