Columbia County’s Finance and Taxation Department, along with Moss Adams LLP, have completed the FY 2021-2022 audit. The auditor has requested that Columbia County adjust some of its accounting practices to better align with the current GASB (Government Accounting Standards Board)/GAAP (General Audit and Accounting Principles) rules. 

The Columbia County Board of Commissioners has authorized presenting a Plan of Action letter to state regulators to ensure the Finance Department implements the changes per state guidelines.
