JAIL OPERATING CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING

PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Jail Operating Advisory Committee will hold a public meeting on October 6, 2025, January 5, April 20, July 20, and October 19, 2026, at or after 1:00 p.m. in a hybrid session from the John Gumm Building and Civic Center, room 203. 251 Helens Street,  St. Helens, OR. 97051.

1. The purpose of this meeting is for the committee to advise the Board of County Commissioners and the County Sheriff on proper spending of funds raised by levies for operating the Columbia County Jail. 

2. Interested parties may appear and be heard. Public comments will be limited to three (3) minutes. 

3. Columbia County does not discriminate based on disability and will provide reasonable accommodations under the County’s ADA Policy. To request accommodations or review the County’s ADA Policy, don't hesitate to get in touch with the Board of Commissioners' office at 503-397-4322.
