PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE

It is hereby noticed that the Board of County Commissioners will hold two Hearings during this scheduled meeting to consider Road Naming's within Columbia County. The process involves reviewing and considering requests from property owners and applicants, as well as allowing the public to provide their input. 

1. In the Matter of Public Road Naming Request, LDS File No. Road 37, submitted by  Larry Gustafson, Karmels LLC, Ellis Karen D RLT, and DKE LLC, Applicant and three Property Owners. Requesting to name a new private road off Nehalem  Highway North.
2. In the Matter of Public Road Naming Request, LDS File No. Road 38, submitted by Cathryn Abell and Joseph Hiebert, Applicant and Property Owners, requesting to officially name “Hammerbeck Lane” as the public road that was identified on the Final Plat for Partition Plat 2007-21 as a “50’ public right-of-way dedication.”
3. The public will be given the opportunity to testify during the hearings. Written testimony may be emailed to jacyn.normine@columbiacountyor.gov prior to May 13, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
4. Land Development Services sent referrals and acknowledgments to affected agencies.
