NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN The Columbia County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at or after 10:00 a.m. at the Courthouse Annex, 230 Strand Street, Room 310, St. Helens, Oregon 97051.

The purpose of this hearing is to consider an amendment to the Columbia County Comprehensive Plan map for the City of Vernonia to amend its acknowledged Urban Growth Boundary. This proposal involves swapping out approximately 37 acres of Rural Residential and Primary Forest zoned property that is currently located within the city’s Urban Growth Boundary for approximately 49 acres of Rural Residential zoned property. This proposal will affect approximately 22 tax lots which are identified in the file information.
