DESCRIPTION: JAIL OPERATING CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING (JOCAC) PUBLIC SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Jail Operating Advisory Committee will hold a special meeting on, February 2, 2026, at or after 1:00 p.m. in a hybrid session from the John Gumm Building and Civic Center, room 203. 251 Helens Street,  St. Helens, OR. 97051.  The purpose of this meeting is for the committee to advise the Board of County Commissioners and the County Sheriff on proper spending of funds raised by levies for operating the Columbia County Jail.     During this meeting JOCAC will meet with Sheriff Pixley to review line items in the Jail Operating Budget. Interested parties may appear and be heard. Public comments will be limited to three (3) minutes.     Columbia County does not discriminate based on disability and will provide reasonable accommodations under the County’s ADA Policy.
