DESCRIPTION:                                     FREE COLLECTION OF MATTRESSES, ELECTRONIC WASTE AND SPECIAL RECYCLABLE ITEMSCOLUMBIA COUNTY TRANSFER STATION HOSTS SPECIAL COLLECTION EVENT ON SEPTEMBER 12THThe event is made possible by many partners, including MRC’s Bye Bye Mattress, RecycleOn Oregon, Green Century Recycling, Hudson Garbage Service, and Columbia County.  Columbia County residents can bring the following items to the event: Mattress RecyclingUp to five box springs and mattresses.Accepted items: mattresses made of steel innersprings, foam, fiber, or other upholstery materials, as well as box springs used to support a mattress or sleep surface.
