All kennels must meet the requirements outlined in the County Kennel ordinance 2007-7.

All kennels in Columbia County with more then 10 dogs or persons who breed, board, train or sell dogs are required to obtain a kennel license.

Columbia County Dog Nuisance Ordinance
Provides for the abatement of nuisances created by the possession of ten or more of any combination of licensed or unlicensed dogs within Columbia County.

Columbia County Livestock-At-Large Ordinance
Protects the health, safety and welfare of residents of Columbia County by declaring livestock at large in closed range livestock districts in unincorporated areas of Columbia County to be a nuisance.

Foster to Adopt Form
For those wishing to foster to adopt a found animal and not surrender the animal to the county's animal shelter.
